Digital Marketing Data Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented Digital Marketing Data Analyst to join our digital marketing team in Salt Lake City, Utah at Alsco Uniforms. This role is responsible for analyzing performance data across all digital marketing channels including email, social media, paid advertising, SEO, and web analytics, and for connecting that performance to sales pipeline and revenue outcomes. You will build dashboards and visualizations in Tableau, deliver reporting and presentations to marketing and sales leadership, and provide data-driven insights that optimize campaign performance and drive business growth. You'll work cross-functionally to ensure data accuracy, identify trends and opportunities, and translate complex datasets into actionable recommendations. The ideal candidate combines strong technical analytics skills with marketing knowledge and the ability to communicate insights effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Annual Base Pay: $90,000

Essential Functions:

• Analyze performance data from digital marketing channels including email campaigns, social media, paid advertising (PPC, display, social), SEO, and website traffic to measure campaign effectiveness.

• Develop and maintain dashboards and data visualizations in Tableau, along with Excel and other analytics tools, to track key performance indicators across marketing and sales.

• Utilize HubSpot and Salesforce to analyze campaign performance, customer journeys, and pipeline attribution across the marketing funnel.

• Build recurring and ad hoc presentations for marketing and sales leadership that tell the story behind the numbers, including performance, results, and recommendations.

• Analyze customer behavior, engagement patterns, and conversion trends, and recommend optimizations to improve campaign performance and audience targeting.

• Partner with marketing operations, web, and third-party vendors to audit tracking and data collection, troubleshoot issues, and maintain data accuracy across marketing platforms.

• Collaborate with IT, systems teams, and other departments to ensure cohesive measurement and attribution across the marketing ecosystem, and represent marketing and sales reporting requirements in data integration initiatives.

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in digital marketing analytics or a data analysis role.

• Advanced proficiency in Tableau or Power BI, including building interactive dashboards and visualizations that make complex data easy to understand for executive and day-to-day audiences.

• Experience with marketing attribution and funnel analysis, connecting channel performance to leads, pipeline, and revenue.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel including pivot tables, XLOOKUP or INDEX/MATCH, Power Query, and complex formulas.

• Strong knowledge of HubSpot and Salesforce for marketing analytics, sales reporting, and CRM data analysis.

• Deep understanding of digital marketing channels including SEO, PPC (Google Ads), social media advertising, email marketing, and call tracking.

• Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4) and other web analytics tools.

• Experience using performance data to recommend marketing improvements, including advising on testing and experimentation approaches where appropriate.

• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex and large datasets.

• Strong communication and presentation skills to effectively convey data-driven insights and recommendations to stakeholders, including building executive-ready presentations.

• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, IT, and external vendors.

• Detail-oriented with a strong focus on data accuracy, quality assurance, and documentation.

• Working knowledge of SQL is preferred, along with any exposure to cloud data platforms such as Snowflake or Salesforce Data Cloud (Data 360).

Education Requirements: A combination of education and experience will be considered.

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, or related field, OR equivalent combination of education and 4+ years of professional experience in digital marketing analytics.

• Salesforce or Tableau certification (such as Salesforce Administrator, Data Cloud, or Tableau Data Analyst) is preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements: Physical Demands/Requirements consist of standing, sitting, walking, stooping, reaching overhead, grasping, seeing, reading, speaking, hearing, and occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

Environmental Conditions: Indoor office environment.

Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required, typically around 5-10%.
