Warehouse Technician

Shermco Industries is seeking a self-motivated Warehouse Technician to support warehouse operations, equipment deliveries, and front desk administrative duties. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, and comfortable balancing hands-on warehouse work with computer-based tasks and travel coordination.

Operate a forklift to safely move, load, unload, and organize equipment and inventory.
• Handle shipping and receiving, including preparing shipments, verifying deliveries, and maintaining accurate records.
• Maintain warehouse inventory, track equipment movement, and ensure accurate stock levels.
• Keep the warehouse, shop, and storage areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver and pick up equipment and materials at customer locations and job sites.
• Provide after-hours equipment deliveries as needed to support field operations and customer needs.
• Coordinate employee travel arrangements, including booking hotels, flights, and rental cars.
• Perform administrative duties, including data entry, filing, and maintaining documents and spreadsheets using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Communicate with field personnel, vendors, and office staff to coordinate equipment and logistical needs.

• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, and forklift experience preferred.
• Delivery driving experience and a valid driver's license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and clear communication.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and follow through with minimal supervision.
• Ability to manage changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and availability to work after hours as needed for equipment deliveries.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Experience with administrative support and travel booking is a plus.
