Heart disease is the leading cause of death for both men and women in the U.S. At ZOLL, your work will help to ensure cardiac patients get the life-saving therapy they need. * Assist in the creation and implementation of production tooling, line design, material, and process flows to comply with quality system requirements and drive continuous improvement. * Work closely with Engineers, Managers and Technicians to: * Review, understand and draft technical documentation (e.g. Engineering Change Orders, Engineering Drawings, Process SOPs, etc) * Identify, design and execute line layout and process improvements. * Design, conduct, and analyze time/motion studies. * Create, publish and maintain standard worksheets. * Develop and implement templates, procedures, and standards to support quality system, lean management program, and safety program deployment and maintenance. * Utilize software tools to collect and analyze production data. * Identify, develop, and implement solutions to enhance ergonomics. Required/Preferred Education and Experience * High School Diploma or equivalent required * Actively pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or related STEM field from an ABET-accredited program. Three (3) completed semesters required. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Basic experience with data analysis, methods, and graphing required. * Creative problem solving skills required. * Strong organizational skills required. * Excellent verbal, written, and oral presentation skills required. * Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams required. * Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint required. * Strong knowledge of measurement, e.g., dimensional, electrical, pressure required. * Working knowledge of statistics and data analysis concepts and software packages (MiniTab, Python, R. etc.) preferred. * 2D drawing and 3D modeling skills preferred. * 3D printing experience preferred. * Demonstrated skills in Team Leadership and project execution preferred.
