Your Role

Join us as anOnsite Service Engineer where your technical expertise plays an essential role in supporting customer manufacturing environments. You will be stationed at a customer site located in Memphis, TN / Olive Branch, MS, acting as the primary technical support professional for Desoutter's advanced assembly and tightening technology.



Your hands-on technical skills will enable you to efficiently troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, ensuring seamless production workflows. By combining your practical experience with Desoutter's industry-leading solutions, you will be a key contributor to maximizing product reliability and customer satisfaction.

Your day-to-day

Daily Responsibilities Include:



  • Diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating sophisticated Desoutter assembly and tightening systems to maintain peak equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Providing expert onsite technical support promptly to resolve urgent production line challenges within a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Conducting scheduled preventive maintenance and diligently managing calibration activities to uphold compliance and equipment standards.
  • Developing trusted partnerships with customer teams by delivering exceptional service and clear technical guidance, fostering lasting relationships.
  • Utilizing equipment and service data analytics to proactively identify areas for improvement and contribute to continuous operational enhancements.

Your skills and experience

  • Educational Background: An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation, Information Technology, or equivalent technical discipline is preferred; candidates with substantial relevant experience are encouraged to apply.
  • Technical Expertise: At least 5 years of hands-on experience in troubleshooting, maintaining, calibrating, or repairing industrial equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and software-integrated systems.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to independently utilize diagnostic tools, technical knowledge bases, and innovative solutions to resolve complex issues efficiently.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional interpersonal and customer service abilities, capable of building rapport and delivering clear, effective training and technical advice to diverse audiences.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with industrial assembly tools, torque applications, tightening systems, and calibration procedures is highly desirable.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work beyond standard business hours and travel regularly across the United States, Canada, and occasionally Mexico, to meet customer and company needs.

Your job location

  • Primary Work Location: This role is based onsite at a customer's manufacturing facility in the Memphis, TN / Olive Branch, MS area, ensuring close collaboration with client operations.
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required to attend specialized training sessions, business meetings, or temporary assignments at other customer sites. All travel expenses are covered by the company, ensuring you can focus on your professional tasks.
