Are you a skilled visual storyteller with a passion for bringing corporate narratives to life? We are seeking a talented freelance professional to join an internal studio team, playing a crucial role in capturing the essence of innovation and leadership. In this dynamic position, you will directly contribute to how this pioneering company communicates its vision, showcases its cutting-edge products, and connects with its global audience. Your camera work will not only document but also amplify the impactful stories of technological advancement and corporate culture.

About the Role

You will become an integral part of a small, rotating on-site crew, collaborating closely with a team of producers. This role primarily focuses on camera and grip operations across a diverse range of corporate video productions. During quieter periods, there will be opportunities to lend your expertise to editing pickups, further enhancing your contribution to the team's output.

Key Responsibilities

  • Visual Storytelling & Technical Execution: Serve as a camera operator and basic grip, capturing compelling visuals for critical corporate productions, including:

    • High-stakes leadership broadcasts, town halls, and executive messages that shape internal and external perceptions.

    • Engaging co-marketing and B2B digital content designed to highlight product capabilities and drive market presence.
    • Inspiring employee spotlights and corporate culture videos that foster community and showcase talent.
    • Detailed technical product demonstrations and internal training videos that educate and inform on complex innovations, often requiring creative framing to showcase intricate micro-level components.

  • Advanced Camera Operation: Masterfully operate cameras for a spectrum of setups, from straightforward, locked-off shots (including teleprompter operation) to intricate product shoots demanding precise and creative framing to emphasize minute details and technical prowess.
  • Collaborative Set Environment: Work seamlessly with internal producers and fellow crew members, maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion when interacting with executives and leadership.
  • Editing Support (As Needed): Provide valuable support for video editing pickups during slower production cycles, utilizing industry-standard tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects for motion graphics and visual effects.

Required Qualifications

  • Corporate Video Expertise: A proven track record as a videographer and camera operator within corporate or B2B environments, demonstrating an understanding of professional communication needs.
  • Set & Lighting Proficiency: Comfort and capability with basic set lighting, essential grip duties, and operating various cameras to execute diverse shot lists effectively.
  • Impactful Corporate Portfolio: Demonstrable experience through a portfolio showcasing work on broadcasts, town halls, B2B marketing content, training materials, or internal communications videos.
  • Professional Reliability: Highly dependable, collaborative, and adept at following producer direction within tight production schedules, ensuring smooth and efficient shoots.

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience operating teleprompters and managing multi-camera live broadcast setups.
  • Hands-on editing experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, and After Effects.
  • A high degree of adaptability, capable of transitioning between providing simple, steady camera support and executing highly skilled, creative camera operating based on specific shoot requirements.
