Job Summary: The NetSuite Solution Architect is responsible for leading the functional design, implementation, optimization, and support of Oracle NetSuite ERP solutions. This role works closely with business stakeholders across Finance, Operations, Sales, and other functional areas to evaluate business needs, define requirements, and deliver scalable NetSuite solutions that support clients financial, supply chain, and operational processes. The NetSuite Solution Architect leads discovery, fit-gap analysis, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support activities, while promoting standardization, process improvement, and effective system adoption across client environments. Job Duties: *Leads and supports discovery sessions with client stakeholders to gather, document, and validate business and functional requirements *Analyzes current client business processes and performs fit-gap assessments against NetSuite standard functionality *Designs end-to-end functional solutions, including business process maps, functional design documentation, and configuration specifications tailored to client needs *Defines functional architecture standards, solution design principles, and configuration best practices for NetSuite implementations and enhancements *Develops future-state business process designs and operating models that align business requirements with NetSuite capabilities *Oversees configuration of NetSuite solutions functionality, including general ledger, chart of accounts, subsidiaries, tax nexuses, custom segments, forms, fields, roles, and permissions *Develops, tests, and optimizes workflow automation solutions using NetSuite SuiteFlow *Leads data mapping, cleansing, validation, and migration activities using approved NetSuite tools and import methods *Coordinates with technical teams and third-party vendors to support integrations, enhancements, and system changes *Develops user acceptance testing scenarios and scripts, manages testing cycles, and resolves functional defects *Creates training materials and delivers end-user training to support adoption and effective use of the platform *Serves as the primary escalation point for complex functional issues, advanced troubleshooting, and NetSuite bi-annual release impacts *Develops and maintains reporting solutions using Saved Searches, Financial Reports, and SuiteAnalytics Workbooks *Advises stakeholders on best practices related to Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report processes *Supports platform governance, controls, and standardization efforts to align with accounting, operational, and business requirements *Collaborates with Enterprise Business Applications leadership to define priorities, roadmaps, risks, and implementation plans for ERP enhancements *Identifies opportunities to improve system performance, process efficiency, and scalability across client NetSuite environments *Maintains documentation related to configuration decisions, business rules, support procedures, and process standards for client delivery *Up to 50% travel required *Other duties as required Supervisory Responsibilities: *May supervise project resources, consultants, and third-party implementation partners, as appropriate *May supervise and provide guidance, knowledge transfer, and functional direction to team members and stakeholders, as appropriate Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Education *High School Diploma or GED, required *Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, or Business Administration, preferred Experience *Ten (10) or more years of NetSuite experience leading projects and technical teams in a consulting or professional services capacity, required *Three (3) or more years of experience supporting pre-sales activities, defining project scope, estimating delivery timelines, and contributing to SOW development within a consulting practice, required *Experience leading or serving as the principal functional lead for at least two (2) full-lifecycle NetSuite ERP implementations or major platform overhauls, required *Experience leading business requirements gathering, discovery workshops, and fit-gap analysis across cross-functional stakeholder groups, required *Experience designing and configuring NetSuite solutions across Financials, OneWorld, Inventory Management, Order Management, and CRM, required *Experience supporting core business processes, including Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report, required *Experience with user acceptance testing, defect management, training, and post-production support, required *Experience supporting multi-subsidiary business operations, preferred *Experience within a management consulting or professional services environment, preferred License(s)/Certification(s) *NetSuite Certified ERP Consultant, preferred *NetSuite SuiteFoundation Certification, preferred Software *Oracle NetSuite ERP, required *NetSuite SuiteFlow, required *NetSuite Saved Searches, Financial Reports, and SuiteAnalytics Workbooks, required *Microsoft Office Suite, required *SuiteScript, RESTlet, SOAP, Celigo, and Dell Boomi, preferred Language(s) *N/A Other Knowledge, Skills & Abilities *Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS accounting principles *Strong knowledge of multi-subsidiary consolidation and enterprise financial processes *Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business language *Ability to coordinate and handle multiple assignments while working within established deadlines *Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills *Ability to lead workshops and facilitate discussions with stakeholders across multiple business functions *Ability to document business requirements, process flows, and functional designs with a high level of accuracy *Ability to work independently in a self-directed capacity while fostering collaboration across teams *Ability to identify process improvement opportunities and recommend scalable solutions that align with business objectives Individual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.
