Tufts University: School of Arts & Sciences: Education Location Medford, MA Open Date Oct 06, 2026 Salary Range or Pay Grade $9669 Description The Tufts University Department of Education seeks two qualified candidates to teach ED 244: Assessment and Intervention of Learning Problems. ED 244 is the final of a 4 series of assessment courses taught in the School Psychology program and focuses on the identification of and intervention for specific learning disabilities. Students are expected to learn about RTI methods of SLD identification as well as PSW. The final project of this course is a comprehensive report, requiring students to conduct academic, cognitive, and social/emotional assessment of a student with a suspected SLD using both PSW and CBM. This course meets in the spring semester, Thursdays from 9:00 - 12:00 pm. This class is taken by second-year students in the School Psychology graduate program. Qualifications Doctorate in School Psychology or related discipline and successful university teaching experience are preferred. The successful candidate should have experience in school-based or clinical practice at the high school, middle school, and/or elementary level.
