Radar System Engineer will be working as a member of an integrated team responsible for operating and maintaining or supporting the United States Air Force Test Operations and Sustainment efforts. Job Summary The Radar Systems Engineer reports directly to Engineer Manager to execute mission-critical specific radar systems equipment including design, development, tests, operation, maintenance, repair, and quality assurance. NRTF Radar Systems Engineer will work with a team of other engineers and technicians to create and improve radar systems, from the initial concept and design phase through the integration, testing, operations and maintenance phase. The NRTF Radar Systems Engineer will use a variety of tools and techniques to analyze and optimize radar performance, including computer simulations and mathematical models. The Radar Systems Engineer is also required to stay up to date with the latest advancements in radar technology and be knowledgeable about the laws and regulations that govern the use of radar systems. This position will require various shifts, weekends, and alternative work schedules for extended periods of time. Must be willing to work overtime when required. NRTF's Radar Systems Engineers should have a solid understanding of radar principles and have experience with computer simulations, mathematical modeling, and programming. Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills are also essential. Job Duties:
