Pay Rate: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour

Schedule: 12-hour shifts * 2-2-3 rotation

Job Duties



  • Operate, monitor, and adjust packaging machinery to meet production goals.
  • Monitor multiple machines simultaneously and respond quickly to operational needs.
  • Read, interpret, and record machine gauges, measurements, and production data accurately.
  • Utilize computer software and production systems to monitor equipment performance and document production information.
  • Perform routine quality checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and leadership regarding production issues or equipment concerns.
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned.



Education Requirements



  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Technical training or manufacturing education is beneficial.



Experience Requirements



  • Experience operating manufacturing or production equipment.
  • Ability to read work instructions, production schedules, and basic technical documentation.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to monitor equipment for proper operation.
  • Ability to perform quality inspections and maintain production standards.
  • Commitment to workplace safety, attention to detail, and dependable attendance.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
  • Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
  • Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Packaging Machine Operator.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to operate and monitor multiple machines simultaneously.
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn production software systems.
  • Ability to read gauges, monitor equipment performance, and accurately record information.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.



Physical Capabilities



  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
  • Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 12 pounds.
  • Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to hours per shift.
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment that may be warm at times.
  • Ability to lift, bend, reach, stoop, and perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
  • Ability to safely perform job duties while wearing required personal protective equipment.
