Join the Columbia, Montour, Snyder, and Union Counties (CMSU) Drug & Alcohol Unit as a County Drug & Alcohol Administrator 1 and help strengthen vital services across the region. DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This position oversees the Drug and Alcohol component of CMSU and provides leadership in planning, communication, and program development. As a County Drug & Alcohol Administrator 1, you will perform the following duties:
- Program Oversight: Supervise the Drug and Alcohol unit while applying policy, procedure, and independent judgment
- Plan Development: Work with the Behavioral Health Advisory Board to develop and revise the annual Drug and Alcohol Plan
- Contract Management: Negotiate and monitor provider contracts using required tools and guidelines
- Budget Coordination: Develop and track the annual budget with administration and advisory partners
- Grant Activities: Prepare grants and generate revenues to support services in the region
- DUI Program Support: Oversee DUI program operations including assessments, instructor coordination, and case management
Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- An Associate's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services) or other behavioral sciences, public administration or business management and six (6) years of professional experience providing direct service and/or program planning in a human service agency, including two (2) years supervising human service professionals; or
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services) or other behavioral sciences, public administration or business management and four (4) years of professional experience providing direct service and/or program planning in a human service agency, including two (2) years supervising human service professionals; or
- A Master's Degree or above from an accredited college with a major in medicine, chemical dependency, psychology, social work, counseling, nursing (with a specialty in nursing/health administration, nursing/counseling education or a clinical specialty in the human services) or other behavioral sciences, public administration or business management and two (2) years of professional experience providing direct service and/or program planning in a human service agency, including two (2) years supervising human service professionals.
