Desk clerks also ensure safety by monitoring security cameras, holding residents accountable to community rules, and making sure doors are locked and closed. You will contribute to client recovery by conducting wellness checks, providing de-escalation, and communicating with clinical teams verbally and through records.

You will create the desk clerk schedule, contact substitutes when coverage is needed, and personally provide coverage if a substitute cannot fill the shift.
