About the Team:

As a member of the Life Sciences Experience (LSE) Solution Consulting team your mission will be to:

  • Embody Dassault Systemes' core company values and principles in front of our customers.
  • Support the Dassault Systemes' sales team in achieving Life Sciences & Healthcare revenue objectives while ensuring customer success.
  • Promote the values of the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform, with specific focus in manufacturing applications.
  • Together with a team of talented solution consultants, serve as the technical authority while building and maintaining deep expertise in the Life Science & Healthcare portfolio across manufacturing and service disciplines.
  • Incorporate complementary Dassault Systemes' solutions to guide customers through their business transformation journey and realize maximum value.
Responsibilities

As a Industry Process Consultant, you will report to the Industry Consultant Director. Your main responsibility will be to execute the Value Engagement process to understand customer business needs, articulate the value of the 3DEXPERIENCE portfolio and propose solutions delivering maximum value.

This includes:

  • Engaging with the customers to assess their challenges and need for business transformation
  • Validate the technical feasibility, complexity, and value of the proposed solution. Plan and deliver solution presentations, demonstrations, and proofs of value.
  • Working with customers and Dassault Systemes' Services or partner on a deployment roadmap.
  • Monitor customer success throughout deployment and (re)engage as necessary
  • Soft Skills:
    • Technical Sales techniques (e.g. consultative selling, value-based selling)
    • Excellent communication skills within customer-facing context
    • Ability to work with cross-functional and cross geography teams (in English language)
    • Ability to deliver compelling presentations through storytelling
    • Ability to engage at all levels of an organization, from end-users and management
    • Comfortable working in a matrix organization
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to manage assigned work streams and activities as part of a large engagement
  • Hard Skills:
    • Solid experience in technology related to manufacturing planning and execution such as DELMIA, ERP systems, MOM/MES systems like Apriso, and/or supply chain planning systems like QUINTIQ or equivalent.
    • Basic understanding of modeling and simulation topics in Solidworks, CATIA, CAMEO, Dymola, Abaqus, or SIMULIA
    • Basic understanding and experience in AI and machine-learning
    • Solid experience in Life Sciences-based requirements under FDA or EMA regulations
    • Familiarity with quality topics a plus
    • Familiarity with lab-based topics a plus
    • Familiarity with Cloud offerings (Saas, Iaas, Paas, etc.)
    • Good understanding of product development processes and associated challenges and business drivers
    • Fluency in English is required
    • Familiar with change and configuration management concepts (leading transformation)
Qualifications

Professional Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Familiarity with Dassault Systemes' solutions (or PLM industry)
  • Experience working with systems integrators, 3DS resellers, and/or consulting firms
  • Experience in customer-facing roles
  • Experience selling and implementing enterprise software solutions is preferred
  • Ability to travel across Europe, North America, and potentially parts of Asia

Equal opportunity

As with all roles, Medidata sets ranges based on a number of factors including function, level, candidate expertise and experience, and geographic location. The salary range for positions that will be physically based in the New York area is $96,750-$129,000.

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Medidata provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work. Most sales positions are eligible for a commission on the terms of applicable plan documents, and many of Medidata's non-sales positions are eligible for annual bonuses. Salary Pay Transparency

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $96750 and $129000, representing the base salary (or annualized salary based on estimated hourly compensation) and target bonus.
