About the Opportunity:
We are seeking a Materials Planner 3 to support material planning, inventory management, and supply chain operations for engineering and production organizations. In this role, you'll coordinate the movement of materials throughout the production cycle, support new product introductions, manage inventory transactions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure material availability and on-time delivery.

What You'll Do:
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials throughout the production cycle.
  • Determine material requirements based on engineering and production schedules.
  • Coordinate engineering-owned materials for shipment to appropriate locations, including SAF, ZSA, and wafer-related destinations.
  • Manage the Project Services mailbox and support material-related inquiries and requests.
  • Maintain and manage reservations for materials staged in inventory locations.
  • Coordinate material transfers from engineering areas into unrestricted inventory locations or laboratory environments.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), part numbers, and material master data within enterprise systems.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships across Program Management, Product Management, Engineering, Production Control, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to address delivery, inventory, and schedule-related issues.
  • Generate ad hoc reports and analysis to support product groups and management.
  • Ensure data integrity within procurement, inventory, and planning systems.
  • Communicate material shortages, risks, and delivery concerns to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in materials planning, supply chain, inventory control, logistics, purchasing, production planning, or manufacturing operations.
  • 3+ years of experience working within SAP or similar ERP systems.
  • 2+ years of experience utilizing SAP transactions such as MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22, and MB23.
  • 2+ years of experience coordinating material movements, inventory transactions, and supply chain activities.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting manufacturing, engineering, or product development organizations.
  • 2+ years of experience supporting new product introduction (NPI) or engineering-focused supply chain operations.
What Sets You Apart:
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUPs, formulas, sorting, filtering, and data analysis.
  • Experience creating reports, presentations, and business documentation.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint and Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
  • Project management or project coordination experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret multi-level Bills of Materials (BOMs).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to write clear instructions and communications regarding inventory movement and material transfers.
  • Demonstrated critical-thinking and root-cause problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
  • Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Self-starter who can work independently while contributing positively to team success.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule consisting of 3 days in-office (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 remote workdays.
  • Top Skills: SAP transaction expertise (MD04, MB51, LS24, ME27, MB21, MB22, MB23), strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with teams.
