The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is seeking an Account Director, Utility to manage and grow a strategic utility customer relationship in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. In this role, you will serve as the primary point of coordination between the customer and Hitachi Energy, helping align business priorities with solutions across the power and energy portfolio. You will work closely with customer executives, internal business units, technical specialists, and project teams to identify opportunities, address complex business challenges, and support long-term account growth. This position combines relationship management, strategic planning, sales execution, and team coordination, with responsibility for increasing customer engagement, expanding orders, and supporting customer satisfaction. You will help utilities navigate changing energy demands by connecting them with technologies and solutions that support grid reliability, operational performance, and modernization efforts. The role also includes coaching team members, coordinating account resources, supporting major pursuits, and helping ensure a consistent customer experience across all interactions with Hitachi Energy.
