At First Business Bank, our Treasury Management team partners with business clients to simplify cash management, optimize payment processes, and protect against fraud. We're looking for a Treasury Management Support Associate who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and enjoys helping businesses maximize the value of treasury solutions.

This role is ideal for someone with experience supporting ACH, electronic banking, treasury management, cash management, deposit operations, or commercial banking clients who wants to deepen their expertise and expand their impact.

Position Overview

The Treasury Management Support Associate is a key member of the Treasury Management team responsible for delivering exceptional support to business banking clients utilizing Treasury Management services.

This position combines client service, treasury operations, product implementation, and training responsibilities. The Associate serves as a primary point of contact for clients and internal partners, assisting with product setup, onboarding, troubleshooting, and education while ensuring a seamless client experience.

Top Performance Objectives Critical to Success

Treasury Management Client Support & Service Excellence (40%)

  • Deliver exceptional client service while consistently meeting departmental service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Serve as a trusted resource for business clients and internal associates regarding Treasury Management products and services.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, gathering information efficiently and resolving issues through appropriate follow-through.
  • Research and troubleshoot client issues while coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Escalate complex issues to department leadership when appropriate.
  • Build positive relationships that enhance client satisfaction and confidence in the bank's treasury solutions.

Treasury Management Product Knowledge & Client Onboarding (30%)

  • Develop and maintain expertise in Treasury Management products and services, including:
    • ACH Services
    • Business Online Banking
    • Remote Deposit Capture
    • Positive Pay
    • SmartPay Express
    • Mobile Banking and Mobile Deposits
    • Account Analysis Services
    • Additional commercial banking solutions
  • Support the onboarding and implementation of new Treasury Management clients.
  • Perform product setup, maintenance, and service modifications while meeting established SLAs.
  • Conduct virtual and in-person client training sessions to ensure successful product adoption.

Internal Collaboration & Relationship Management (10%)

  • Partner effectively with Treasury Management Officers, Commercial Banking teams, Client Services, Deposit Operations, and other internal stakeholders.
  • Support shared client relationships through proactive communication and teamwork.
  • Identify opportunities to connect clients with additional bank products and services when appropriate.
  • Contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment focused on client success.

Managing Priorities & Execution (10%)

  • Balance multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness.
  • Manage product setups, client implementations, training activities, inbound calls, and email requests.
  • Coordinate multiple onboarding and support activities simultaneously while meeting service expectations.

Ongoing Learning & Professional Development (10%)

  • Stay current on Treasury Management products, banking regulations, NACHA rules, and industry best practices.
  • Participate in training programs and professional development opportunities.
  • Continuously build knowledge of new products, services, processes, and technologies.
  • Share knowledge and best practices with team members to support department success.

Qualifications

  • 1-3+ years of experience in Treasury Management, ACH operations, cash management, electronic banking, deposit operations, or commercial banking support.
  • Experience supporting business or commercial banking clients.
  • Experience with client onboarding, implementation, training, or product support.
  • Working knowledge of ACH processing and NACHA rules is preferred.
  • Experience utilizing Treasury Management or commercial banking platforms is a plus.
