RN Mother Baby

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse with expertise in Mother Baby care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing exceptional care to both mothers and their newborns, ensuring a supportive and nurturing environment for the families we serve.

The Mother Baby Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to postpartum mothers and their newborns. The role requires a high level of skill in couplet care, where the nurse will provide care for both the mother and baby as a pair, promoting family-centered care and education.

• Provide direct nursing care to postpartum mothers and newborns, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
• Perform thorough assessments of mothers and babies, monitoring vital signs and identifying any potential complications.
• Educate new parents on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery, fostering a supportive environment for family bonding.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Mother Baby nursing with a focus on couplet care.
• Valid NJ RN or compact license.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP).
