The College of Nursing at the University of Cincinnati is seeking a collaborative proven professional to join our graduate program team in serving as a Program Coordinator (Clinical Site Coordinator). The chosen candidate will serve as the primary liaison with clinical preceptors, clinical site administration, and students currently enrolled in our graduate nursing program. The Program Coordinator facilitates placement of graduate nursing students in clinical sites and the vetting of clinical site contracts (as warranted). Other responsibilities include establishing and maintaining clinical affiliation agreements and managing documentation associated with the precepted clinical experience. Active listening, detail orientation, proactive problem solving, and critical thinking are important skills necessary for the position of Program Coordinator. They should demonstrate good judgment when making decisions and assist with special projects as needed. They should be proficient in Microsoft Suite and have established comfort with learning about and using new technology platforms. The graduate program works collaboratively with faculty, staff, students, preceptors and clinical sites to achieve set goals. The ideal candidate must be a valuable contributor to the team, be able to work independently, solve problems and pay attention to detail. This position offers flexibility for a hybrid work schedule for applicants with residence within OH/IN/KY after all applicable training, onboarding and approval of all requirements have been completed.
