The Corporate IS Department is seeking a dynamic and talented Software Engineer I.

The Software Engineer I - Workday Integrations supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of integrations and technical solutions within the Workday ecosystem. Working under the guidance of senior team members, this role assists in building, troubleshooting, and supporting integrations between Workday and internal and external systems. The engineer develops foundational expertise in Workday integration technologies including EIBs, Core Connectors, Workday Studio, APIs, and related tools while contributing to projects, system maintenance, testing activities, and operational support. The role supports business areas across Human Capital Management (HCM), Financial Management, Payroll, and other enterprise functions.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of Workday integrations using Workday tools and related technologies.
  • Support secure and reliable data exchanges between Workday and internal or external systems.
  • Work with business and technical teams to understand requirements and assist in delivering integration solutions across enterprise functions.
  • Monitor integrations and investigate issues, escalating complex problems as needed.
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolution of integration errors and data issues.
  • Help maintain technical documentation, integration specifications, and operational procedures.
  • Participate in system testing, Workday releases, upgrades, and deployment activities.
  • Learn and apply Workday integration, security, and development best practices.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers on enhancements, process improvements, and optimization initiatives.
  • Support enterprise business processes across Human Capital Management, Financial Management, Payroll, and related Workday functional areas.

Qualifications

Position Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of experience in software development, application support, ERP systems, or enterprise integrations required.
  • Experience with Workday integrations preferred but not required.
  • Exposure to XML, XSLT, JSON, APIs, web services, or related integration technologies preferred.
  • Familiarity with enterprise business processes within Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, Supply -Chain, or related functional areas is preferred.
  • Workday certification or Workday Pro credentials are a plus.

Skills

  • Basic understanding of software development, integration concepts, and enterprise application architecture.
  • Familiarity with XML, JSON, APIs, web services, and related technologies.
  • Ability to troubleshoot technical issues with guidance from senior engineers.
  • Ability to learn Workday integration technologies, security concepts, and best practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with technical and functional teams.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to documentation, testing, and quality standards.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in supporting business processes across Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, and other enterprise functions.
