What you'll do as a Sr. Maintenance Technician:

  • Lead facility management by serving as the main point of contact between McLane and facility landlord.
  • Oversee/planning the activities of the maintenance department to ensure that the daily duties and priorities are accomplished in a timely manner.
  • Assignment and control of work orders, ensure proper logging and prioritization
  • Set up preventative maintenance (PM) schedule to meet the vendors' requirements for proper operations and ensure PMs on all equipment (PIT) are conducted in a timely manner.
  • Provide equipment use training.
  • Maintain parts inventory and preventative maintenance programs on computer.
  • Meet with vendors to find competitive pricing for supplies and replacement parts.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications you'll bring as a Sr Maintenance Technician:

  • Five (5) or more years' experience building and PIT maintenance experience required, with general knowledge in the repair and maintenance of HVAC, generators, lighting, refrigeration, network, plumbing, racking, electrical and irrigation.
  • Experience leading a maintenance team, required.
  • Trade School Certified on PIT Maintenance, Welding (fabrication and welding).
  • Working knowledge of process safety management, required.
  • Experience with OSHA, and other related safety regulations, preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a professional personal presentation, required.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with little margin for error.
  • Experience with computer word processing, presentations/graphic proficiency and spreadsheet skills are required, (Microsoft Word, Access, Excel & PowerPoint).
  • Basic math skills required; must be capable of calculations on calculator and computer.
  • This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
