Production Supervisor - PPF Generators

As a Production Supervisor at Atlas Copco Group's Portable Power and Flow Division, you will lead the production activities on assigned lines, ensuring not only efficient and timely manufacturing but also a safe and motivating environment for your team. You will serve as the key liaison between assembly operators and the planning & scheduling teams, orchestrating daily operations to meet production goals. Your role will be pivotal in driving continuous improvement initiatives including 5S methodologies, process optimizations, and quality assurance efforts.

• Lead and oversee a team of over 20 production employees, fostering teamwork and maintaining high morale.

• Attend and contribute to daily morning meetings with Flow Team Coaches to align production activities with planning schedules.

• Conduct daily briefings with production staff, communicate work assignments, priorities, and safety protocols.

• Monitor production workflow, proactively identifying and addressing any bottlenecks or challenges.

• Maintain strict adherence to safety regulations, ensuring a safe and compliant workplace.

• Track and document employee performance, attendance, and productivity metrics accurately.

• Investigate discrepancies in inventory and collaborate with logistics teams to resolve issues promptly.

• Support and participate actively in continuous improvement projects aimed at enhancing production quality and efficiency.

• This role requires being on your feet for extended periods and working in environments with variable temperatures, including potential shift work and weekend rotations.
