About the Role

Step into a dynamic role where you will be instrumental in perfecting the fit and quality of diverse product lines, including intimates, casual wear, and shapewear. This individual contributor position is at the heart of the product development lifecycle, empowering you to execute the technical design process from initial concept to final fit approval. What You'll Do

• Execute the technical design process from initial development through to final fit approval.
• Analyze and evaluate garments to develop and refine correct fit specifications.
• Ensure products are developed in alignment with established fit quality standards, manufacturer capabilities, and cost specifications.
• Develop comprehensive technical specifications and effectively communicate fit requirements to vendors and factories for approvals and corrections.
• Lead or actively participate in fittings, providing detailed fit comments and guiding pattern corrections.
• Collaborate with factories to make appropriate adjustments, ensuring the integrity of approved design prototypes while monitoring quality and targeted price points.
• Contribute to the success of a high-performing team, often guiding Assistant or Associate Technical Designers.

What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion or equivalent professional experience.
• Mid-level professional with 5+ years of experience in technical design, specifically with intimates, casual wear, and/or apparel.
• Demonstrated experience participating in or owning fittings, with the ability to write comprehensive fit comments and provide pattern correction guidance.
• Proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Excel, Illustrator, and Flex PLM.
• Proven ability to develop technical specifications and communicate effectively with vendors and factories.
• A flexible, supportive, and agile approach to problem-solving, capable of maintaining composure in stressful situations.
• Must be willing to work on-site for fittings as required.
