Job Description
Skill: QA Automation Lead (Python & API Testing) Must Have Technical/Functional Skills: *
Strong experience in QA Automation Testing with at least 10 years of overall testing experience. *
Hands-on experience in Python Automation Framework Development. *
Strong expertise in API Testing using REST APIs, SOAP APIs, Postman, and automation tools. *
Experience with test automation frameworks such as PyTest, Robot Framework, Selenium, or Playwright. *
Strong knowledge of API validation, data verification, and backend testing. *
Experience with SQL and database validations. *
Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools. *
Experience with version control systems such as Git. *
Strong understanding of Banking and Financial Services applications. *
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies. *
Experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as Jira, ALM, or Azure DevOps. Roles & Responsibilities: *
Lead the design and implementation of automation frameworks using Python. *
Define and maintain API automation test strategies for banking applications. *
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, integration, and regression testing. *
Collaborate with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product Owners to understand requirements and define test coverage. *
Review test cases and automation scripts developed by team members. *
Analyze test results, identify defects, and drive defect resolution with development teams. *
Ensure test automation is integrated into CI/CD pipelines. *
Create automation metrics, dashboards, and status reports for stakeholders. *
Mentor QA team members and establish testing best practices. *
Support release validation and production readiness activities. *
