oversee the implementation and coordination of clinical research trials
conducted at UNM sites. These studies, primarily focused on people who use
drugs, are funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Clinical
Trials Network, the State of New Mexico, and the pharmaceutical industry.

populations experiencing barriers to research participation. This position
requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills, cultural humility, and
the ability to establish and sustain collaborative relationships with community
organizations, clinical providers, government agencies, and other stakeholders.

The Clinical Research Manager will also serve as
a primary liaison between UNM study teams and external research partners,
including lead study teams, clinical coordinating centers, and data
coordinating centers. Responsibilities will include coordinating database
updates, supporting data quality assurance and control, collaborating with
external study monitors, facilitating internal study meetings, and managing
study team schedules and communications to ensure adherence to protocol
requirements and study timelines.

This position will be based at the SURGE
building on UNM's North Campus, with regular travel to UNM-affiliated and
community-based clinical sites as needed.
