Job Title: Endpoint Migration Project Manager

Location(s): Chicago, IL
(Remote)

Job Description
The Endpoint Migration Project Manager will own the end-to-end planning, coordination, governance, and execution of the endpoint management migration, translating the technical solution into controlled and predictable migration waves. The role will serve as the single point of contact for migration status, maintaining an accurate and up-to-date view of progress, forecasts, risks, issues, dependencies, and recovery actions. The Project Manager will provide status updates on demand and through formal daily and weekly reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Migration Planning and Governance: Build and maintain the integrated endpoint migration plan, including migration waves, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, readiness gates, cutover criteria, and hypercare activities.
  • Endpoint Migration Execution: Drive the migration of devices to the target environment using Microsoft Intune, Windows Autopilot, and Quest On Demand Migration in accordance with the approved technical design.
  • Migration Control: Establish effective daily execution controls, tracking migration volumes, success and failure rates, retries, defects, backlogs, remediation activities, and progress against the baseline plan.
  • Mobile Device Management: Coordinate the migration of approximately 7,000 mobile devices to the target Intune environment, including Apple Business Manager (ABM), Samsung Knox, JAMF/Intune configuration, mobile contracts, and end-user reconfiguration.
  • User and VIP Experience: Coordinate migration communications, scheduling, end-user instructions, and White Glove/VIP processes to minimize business disruption and ensure adequate onsite and remote support.
  • Status Reporting, RAID Management, and Escalation: Provide clear daily and weekly reporting to stakeholders covering progress, forecasts, risks, issues, decisions, and dependencies. Maintain the RAID log, drive issue resolution, and proactively escalate blockers requiring management intervention.
