Our role

Our Strategy & Projects team as part of the central Controlling Processes & Operations function supports the group-wide FP&A community regarding improvement of their FP&A processes as well as the development and optimization of used planning & reporting solutions. Furthermore the team is responsible for the definition of an overarching FP&A strategy and the implementation of a FP&A governance framework. The role of a FP&A Process Improvement Manager offers you a great opportunity to take over responsibility in optimizing our planning and reporting processes, to drive digitalization forward and to be an active part of our "Growing Green" journey. Your activities

  • Being first point of contact you advise our FP&A team in US on controlling specific questions. You identify improvement ideas, drive standardization and digitalization forward and support to translate business requirements into process and system specifications
  • You manage a project portfolio by leading various projects and providing hands-on project management. You work closely with the FP&A management team to drive change and performance.
  • You ensure efficient and high quality reporting by driving knowledge sharing and implementation of best practices.
  • You collaborate with different departments in cross-functional project teams to ensure that designed and implemented (best practice) solutions adequately meet the business requirements
  • Moreover, you present status updates and project results to the FP&A management team. You prepare relevant decisions by elaborating as well as evaluating different options and aligning recommendations with IT and other management support functions (e.g. legal, tax, accounting, finance, risk management, operational teams)
  • You organize and execute trainings to enable end users

Your profile

  • You have completed your university degree in business administration or related studies (e.g. business analytics, business information systems)
  • Furthermore, you have several years of relevant professional experience (5 years or more) in the area of FP&A / management accounting / finance, with knowledge of controlling as well as financial management concepts; experience in consulting is a welcome plus
  • You score points with advanced project management skills and the ability to convince, motivate and enable others. Your talent to organize and to work autonomously helps you significantly in your daily business
  • You have very good communication skills, combined with the ability to analyze complex matters precisely and present them in an easy way
  • Besides that, you convince with good knowledge of information management systems, planning & reporting processes and data management. Initial experience with business intelligence software is highly desired
  • You have good technical knowledge of SAP CO/PS/FI modules (preferably on S/4HANA) and MS Office
  • Others describe you as an excellent team player with eagerness to learn and share your knowledge with the team
  • You enjoy using your fluent English, additional languages are a plus
