Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Network Engineer, Colorado Springs

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Network Engineer, you will need hands on experience and knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies along with multi-vendor routing and switching (Juniper and Cisco).

We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:

  • Network design and development supporting large network deployments
  • Familiarization with various virtualization technologies to include anything cloud related
  • Experience in network automation (Ansible) highly desired

What sets you apart:

  • Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF
  • Experience in network traffic analysis, diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with firewalls, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, WAN optimization, TACLANEs are all a plus

Workplace Options:

The successful candidate will be required to obtain a DoD 8570 Level II certification within 2 weeks of start.

Selected candidate must also be able to travel to various locations to support deployments.

Target salary range: USD $106,477.00/Yr. - USD $115,211.50/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
