Summary: Join Our Team as a Physical Therapist I at UNC Health Johnston! UNC Health Johnston is seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist I to join our team. This role involves professional-level work focused on evidence-based evaluation of patient disabilities and the development and implementation of personalized physical therapy treatments. You will also document patient progress, provide education to patients and families, mentor students, and contribute to the growth and management of clinical programs. In this position, you'll play an active role in continuing education initiatives, departmental and community activities, outreach programs, and precepting students to help shape the next generation of healthcare providers. The primary focus of this role is weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday) for inpatients at our hospitals in Smithfield and Clayton. However, weekday coverage may also be included, depending on your availability. Typically, two weekends per month are required, but we offer flexibility to accommodate scheduling needs when necessary.
