Position Summary The Facilities Associate position is designed to give practical support by providing janitorial services and light maintenance for the designated facility. The position is designed to provide on-site services five (5) days per week, which may include weekends. The Facilities Associate must fully embrace the ministry and mission of The Salvation Army, accept its Christian principles and values, and protect and enhance the image of The Salvation Army to the public. As well as perform other assigned duties as directed. Specific Duties Although not limited to, the following are the responsibilities of the Facilities Associate assigned to the Placentia Emergency Shelter:
Working Conditions Ability to walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel and twist on an intermittent or sometimes continuous basis. Ability to grasp, push, pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, and reach overhead. Ability to operate computer, fax and telephone. Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. Competencies

Education
High School or Equivalent (required)
Experience
Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook email. (required)
Experience working with hand and electrical tools. (required) 1 years: Experience facility maintenance (required) Licenses & Certifications
Driver's License (required)
