Starting at $15 per hour!!!

POSITION SUMMARY

The Shopgoodwill Product Specialist may function in various capacities within the outlet location. This role demonstrates behaviors consistent with our Mission, Vision and Values, on behalf of Goodwill of Central & Southern Indiana.

Responsibilities

  • Searches blue bins for high-quality merchandise; helps rotate bins on sales floor as needed.
  • Sets up glass case displays or arranges merchandise in glass case to promote sales.
  • Stamps, marks, or tags price on merchandise for glass case.
  • Process items selected out of bins for e-commerce.
  • Answers customer's questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
  • Record all items selected for glass case and e-commerce on inventory control log.
  • Accepts donations in absence of donation attendant.
  • Maintains clean and orderly work area; cleans the area, restrooms and sale floor, including mopping, as needed.
  • Clean shelves, counters, or tables.
  • Other duties may be assigned.
  • Manage Key to enter and exit Shopgoodwill Cage

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.   • High school diploma or GED
  • Military experience highly preferred
  • Minimum 6 months of retail sales
  • Knowledge of antique and designer products and pricing
  • Internet navigation proficiency
  • Strong electronics knowledge
  • Committed to continuous improvement
  • Results-oriented and driven to achieve goals
  • Solid communication verbal and written skills
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions
