Description
Availability Requirement: Facility open 7days a week. Requires flexibility to work occasional nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for business operations. The Lifeguard I will monitor activities, observe and provide assistance to swimmers, prevent accidents, protect life and enforce regulations as well as control access to pools, cabanas, and lockers. Provide first aid when necessary. Assist swimming instructors in teaching swimming lessons and other aquatic programs. Position is also required to assist with general facility maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned. Attendance at all in-service trainings required. Duties and Responsibilities

Must be 15 years old (as required by American Red Cross) (preferred)
Must obtain*: -American Red Cross Lifeguard Certification -American Red Cross Water Park Lifeguard Certification within first 90 days of employment -American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer Certification to include AED -American Red Cross Oxygen Administration Certificate -American Red Cross Blood Borne Pathogens Certification within 90 days of employment *Enroll in the Kroc Center's free certification class by calling 208.763.0657 (preferred) Skills
