Leadership & Service Programs include leadership programming and opportunities, civic engagement, and community service programs and initiatives that connect UCR students with the greater Riverside area. In order to provide a comprehensive leadership development and service program at UCR, these programs are directly connected to fostering student learning about the core of social issues and providing skills on how to respond as leaders to make a difference in their communities.

This position will provide direction and oversee student programming, including but not limited to: the student leadership conference, leadership development education and opportunities, civic engagement programs, and various community service and volunteer initiatives. Collaborating with various departments and community partners will be essential to ensure success for all programs. The Senior Coordinator will also provide the direction of the strategic plan to ensure the goals and objectives are achieved. This position will also support general Student Life Office functions and events as needed.

The full salary range for the Coordinator for Leadership and Service Programs position is $66,500 - $118,300 annually. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $79,450 annually. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.
