The primaryresponsibility for this position is tosupervisethe Sales Planner function within the Account Services organization.

What To Expect (Essential Job Responsibilities)

  • Provide leadership and supervision to direct reports (Sales Planners). Selects and manages the performance of direct reports.
  • Provide day-to-day operational support to Sales Planners while monitoring/balancing their workloads.
  • Train and educate staff in compliance with company policies, procedures, and ISO compliance.
  • Develop internal processes with a focus on improving customer satisfaction, process improvements, and improvement in accuracy.
  • Provide input on tools needed to assist in servicing accounts.
  • Provide input on metrics measurements for service.

Miscellaneous Job Responsibilities

  • Create and distribute reports, as required.
  • Perform other job-related responsibilities and duties as may be assigned from time to time.

What Is Required (Qualifications)

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Three+ years of experience in service or materials management.
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint as well as typing skills for accurate data entry.
  • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail, and organization. Effective collaboration and communication skills as well as strong interpersonal skills.
  • Dependable with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a high pressure environment while effectively prioritizing workloads.
  • Ability to understand customer forecasts, the impact it has on a factory, and how to use the demand information to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to effectively analyze a situation and communicate the resolution to others. Adaptable with the ability to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
  • Proven success in interfacing with customers in global locations.

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

  • Previous supervisory experience in service or operations.
  • Knowledge of Murata's industry, basic business principles, cultural diversities, organization, and products.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Access.

Travel

  • Infrequent domestic travel, approximately once per quarter.
