JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Position: Part-time Education Abroad Recruiting Assistants (2) Hours: 8-10 hours/week Start Date: Monday, May 13, 2024 Hourly Rate: $12/hour Department DescriptionThe Education Abroad (EA) office is a fast-paced and student-centered environment that serves as the primary administrative office facilitating education abroad opportunities at all Penn State campuses. Job Responsibilities & RequirementsThe Education Abroad (EA) office within Penn State Global at University Park is currently seeking two (2) recruiting assistants to join our team on campus this summer. These positions will report to the outreach and engagement coordinator on the Advising and Engagement team and will work in person at the University Park campus. The recruiting assistant positions are part time (8-10 hours per week). Candidates selected for the position will begin training on Monday, May 13, 2024. Those selected will continue to work in our office through August 2024. These roles will be responsible for the following:
Recruiting assistants must be available to work three (3) to four (4) weekdays each week (excluding Fridays) from 11:30 AM - 2:30 PM. They must also be available to work some Sundays throughout the summer in the same time window. Because assistants have responsibilities solely on campus, the ideal candidate will reside in or within driving distance of State College, PA.
