JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Applicant will be responsible to act as a First Responder and provide First Aid to youth participating in sport specific camps held at Penn State University throughout the year. Duties include triage of injuries, referring injuries to physicians for further care, transporting campers to/from physician visits, monitoring the weather, contacting parents/guardians to discuss care and if needed providing care in the housing facilities for overnight campers. Other duties may be assigned based upon the camp and coverage need. Applicant must be a certified athletic trainer and 18 years old. In addition, applicant must pass Annual Compliance, and Mandated Reporter trainings, as well as pass Pennsylvania mandated publicly available clearances. This position requires that you operate a Motor Vehicle as a part of your job duties. A valid US Driver's License and successful completion of a Motor Vehicle Records check will be required in addition to the previously mentioned Clearances, trainings and compliances.
