Position Summary:



The Graduate Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) Department of Katz School of Science and Health is seeking on-campus instructors with extensive industry, research, and/or faculty experience to fill adjunct faculty positions in the areas listed below. Katz School faculty take an interdisciplinary approach to research and education, fostering the creativity, collaborative thinking, and builder mindset required to take on today's toughest problems. The newly established Graduate CSE Department includes programs in AI, Data Analytics and Visualization, and Cybersecurity, as well as the Katz School's Internet of Things (IoT) Lab and Security Operation Center (SOC).



Position Responsibilities:



Upcoming courses, all taught in-person on our Beren campus at 33rd and Lexington Avenue.

  5. Advance Algorithms
  6. Operating Systems
  7. Emerging Paradigms in Programming
  8. Fundamentals of Software Engineering
  9. Computer Graphics
  10. DevOps
  11. Software System Security
  12. Hardware security
  13. Other Computer Science-Related Courses



Experience & Educational Background:




  • A minimum of a Master's degree in the appropriate field of study
  • A Doctorate is preferred.
  • Extensive industry, research, and/or faculty experience in the area that you wish to teach; active engagement in the field.
  • Demonstrated track record of excellent teaching; willingness to adapt your teaching style to meet student needs; and ability to participate in top-quality faculty training.



Skills & Competencies:




  • Excellent engagement and presentation skills.
