BASIC FUNCTION

To provide support to marketing, community relations and foundation functions at Gundersen Moundview Hospital and Clinics including but not limited to writing/communications, event coordination, public relations, employee recognition/activities, promoting the hospital and clinics and working closely with local businesses and donors.

Responsible for supporting various functions by providing administrative support and coordinating projects and project components. Hours are mostly flexible. However, at times the individual may be working at events outside of normal work hours which will be required.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides support to marketing, community relations and foundation with scheduling, planning and other administrative duties.
  • Assists with planning, coordinating, and staffing large- and small-scale events including community outreach and fundraisers
  • Assists in coordinating employee functions including recognition, appreciation activities, and other programs.
  • Assist with communications functions such as business and media contacts, donor relations, employee newsletter, and photography
  • Works simultaneously on multiple projects/tasks
  • Adheres to regular and predictable attendance.
  • Performs other job-related responsibilities as requested.

Education and Learning:

Required

Working towards or have already completed a degree (associate/s or bachelor's) in communications, marketing, public relations, business, or related field.
