Otolaryngology Job Description
NIH-funded Research Technician position with full benefits is available in the Baker Lab at the Life Sciences Center University of Missouri-Columbia. The main purpose of this position is to maintain animal colonies, perform experiments using tissue culture, confocal microscopy, western blot analysis and flow cytometry. This person will participate in generating experimental results, manuscript preparation and presenting at scientific meetings for studies that the person conducts. Additional duties include purchase of lab supplies and help with some administrative duties (take notes of lab meetings and/or help writing portions of grant applications). Shift
8am - 5pm Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
The applicant must hold a BS. or equivalent in Biochemistry, Biology, Physiology or a related discipline and must demonstrate the potential ability to perform the essential functions of the job as outlined in the position description. Anticipated Hiring Range
