Job Description

Job Summary and Responsibilities:

  • Run manual and automated tests
  • Interact with other engineering groups to define, document, analyze, perform, and interpret tests for products, systems, components, or modifications
  • Identify functional problems and suggests resolutions
  • Assist in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs
  • Procure needed parts, equipment and documents in a timely manner to accomplish goals
  • Document pass/fail trends for quality control purposes
  • Utilize basic troubleshooting equipment including: DMM, Oscilloscope and Function Generator
  • Able to troubleshoot to board and component level
  • Run manual and automated test sequences for various electric/electronic products
  • Analyze test cases and provides regular progress reports

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Associates Degree or Certificate in area of specialty
  • 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area
  • Provide the lead roll in assisting, training and directing technicians
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Ability to call upon extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Ability to multitask
  • Reflect a certain degree of creativity and latitude for problem solving and decision making
