Overview

In this position, you will work closely with clients in helping to define geospatial-centric solutions and implementation of those solutions. You will solve complex geospatial problems by evaluating and translating the customer's business goals, objectives and strategies.

The Logistics and Supply Chain practice focuses on applying a geographic approach to help organizations improve the efficiency and effectiveness of their supply chain. The contributions you support within our Logistics and Supply Chain Practice, will enable our customers, across many industries, to meet their objectives in various areas such as sustainability and corporate responsibility, regulatory compliance, supplier management, and transportation and logistics. Through the use of ArcGIS technology, you will apply the lens of space, distance, and time to the supply chain. This will provide insights through the mapping and visualization of the as-is supply chain, will enrich it with contextual and operating data, identify opportunities and analyzes risks. You will provide a digital landscape to model and simulate alternatives to improve decision making.

Responsibilities



  • Help clients translate real-world needs into practical, state-of-the-art solutions
  • Recommend relevant strategies, architectures, and solutions for customer requirements and work with customers to prepare implementations, change management, and migration activities
  • Manage projects and support customers throughout the entire project life-cycle, including requirements, analysis, design, build, and implementation
  • Lead the scope, cost, schedule, and contractual deliverables through planning, tracking, quality assurance, change control, and risk management
  • Establish, develop, and expand relationships with customers, partners, and distributors
  • Work with Esri's marketing and sales teams to develop new business
  • Lead innovative proposals and win work that showcases forward-leaning solutions
  • Mitigate challenges through proper escalation to achieve project and program completion
  • Collaborate with Esri's practice managers and marketing and sales teams to support business development for technology and implementation patterns with new and existing customers
  • Support the development of others though our network of organizational teams and professional communities


Requirements



  • 5+ years of professional experience in a similar position, supporting similar responsibilities
  • Professional experience supporting at least one of the business domains as part of global supply chains:

    • Demand Forecasting and Planning
    • Sourcing/Procurement
    • Sustainability | ESG
    • Transportation and Logistics (Distribution)
    • Supply Chain Optimization (Cost, Technology, Disruption, etc.)


  • Professional experience supporting the design, implementation, and administration of enterprise geospatial technology (ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, and/or ArcGIS Platform)
  • Demonstrate understanding of how mapping and spatial analysis can help support design and the development of efficient supply chain networks
  • Demonstrated ability to translate a customer's business goals, objectives, and strategies into solutions
  • Ability to develop project designs, work plans, budgets, and schedules
  • Exceptional interpersonal, written/verbal communication, multi-tasking, and presentation skills
  • Bachelor's in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, supply chain management, computer science, or a related field


Recommended Qualifications



  • Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, and more
  • Experience with ArcGIS, ArcGIS Network Analyst/location-based services, ArcGIS Knowledge, geo-enabled apps, spatial analytics, or similar geospatial technology
  • Experience with ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and/or other technologies used to support global supply chains
  • Demonstrate knowledge of supply chain resiliency practices, processes, and systems
  • Experience evaluating and supporting the implementation for sustainable resources used by logistics and supply chain customers including industry standards and practices for validating compliance
  • Experience with logistics and supply chain business workflows
  • Master's in Geographic Information Systems (GIS), geography, supply chain management, computer science, or a related field

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range is
$74,880 $150,280 USD
