Position Description

Pay: $47,000 - $50,000 annually

Work Schedule: M-F, 8am - 4:30pm, occasional evenings and weekends.

This Full Time job is eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement, Long Term Disability, Short Term Disability, Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment, Flexible Spending Accounts and several voluntary supplemental benefit offerings. OBJECTIVE:

The Coordinator - BankWork$ program is responsible for coordinating all aspects including developing, implementing and maintaining a finance work skills based class to be delivered to a youth and adult population who possess multiple barriers to gaining and maintaining employment. Participants will graduate from the program being able to being a career in banking/financial services industry. Under the direction of the Manager I, BankWork$, this position will perform a broad range of duties for the designated location:

KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:

* Teaches the eight week Bankwork$ curriculum to participants on a regularly scheduled basis.

* Assists with outreach and recruitment activities to recruit participants for program. Responsible for meeting recruitment goals.

* Interviews program candidates and administer assessments to determine program eligibility. Identify areas for individual coaching and mentoring during the course of the program.

* Develops strong relationships with banks, other financial services organizations, job placement agencies, organizations serving veterans/transitioning military and spouses, community organizations and faith based organizations, colleges, social media, and all other avenues that can serve as a source for program participants recruitment and placement.

* Assists with scheduling training sessions and activities that support the BankWork$ program (outreach, screening, training and placement).

* Coordinates class site visits with banking partners, banking speakers, volunteers and placement staff to provide a successful training session.

* Provides program participants with individual and group training on all job search related skills including, but not limited to resumes, cover letters, online and hard copy employment applications, keys to an effective interview, appropriate attire, timeliness, and follow-up.

* Develops and sustains strong internal and external relationships to ensure pro-active participation in job fairs, and prioritize BankWork$ as a source of candidates for job openings within the banks. External relationships include, but are not limited to retail recruiters and line managers at partner banks.

* Assists in coordinating and executing a formal graduation including professional speakers.

* Assists in coordinating and executing a hiring fair with all banking partners. Preps all banking partners prior to fair with individualized participant information. Follows up with all banking partners on hires.

* Actively places participants that are not hired at the hiring fair.

* Meets all performance measurements set out by BankWork$.

* Assists with collection and records management of participant performance data.

* Provides feedback to BankWork$ National team regarding suggestions on updating and enhancing program curriculum and program materials.

* Attends staff and program meetings as needed to provide updates and progress reports.

* Provides Leadership, guidance and support to participants. Acts as a positive role model by demonstrating professional appearance and interactions.

* Performs all other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree in business, finance, education or related field; minimum five (5) years experience in the banking or finance industry; minimum three (3) years teaching, instructing, or educating adults; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR FUNDS, PROPERTY and EQUIPMENT

Employee is responsible for any technology or Goodwill property used in the normal course of employment will be under the safekeeping and the responsibility of the employee to maintain in good working order. Acts as good steward of program funds and resources.

COMPUTER SKILLS

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of MS Word processing software, MS Excel spreadsheet software and MS Outlook contact management systems.

CERTIFICATIONS and LICENSES

Must have a clear Colorado driver's license to drive on Goodwill business. Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and E-Verify.

Employee will spend a majority of time working in a high traffic office area. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Travel between offices is approximately 15%.

Per contract requirements with vehicle insurance provider: Qualified candidates must be 21 years of age and have no major traffic violations for previous 3 years (for driving/insurance purposes). Must have reliable transportation; must also be able to operate company vehicle.
