Position Summary:

Direct Supply is building the future of healthcare technology with industry-leading products, solutions and platforms to help improve the lives of millions of seniors and those who care for them.

In the Vice President, Infrastructure and Security position, you'll lead the development and execution of our infrastructure and security strategies. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring system availability and scalability, optimizing platform performance, managing costs, maintaining compliance with industry standards and regulations, and enhancing cybersecurity measures. The ideal candidate will excel in both technical and strategic facets of IT infrastructure and security, ensuring our systems are resilient, efficient, adaptable, and secure.

What You'll Do and Impact:

  • Shape the mission, vision and business aligned and forward-thinking IT Infrastructure, Security & Compliance, and Operations strategy. Oversee the execution to enable business capabilities and services across Direct Supply.

  • Introduce innovative approaches and IT solutions that boost our competitive edge and improve Partner productivity.

  • Proactively lead a mission to "AI" enable the entire organization through strategy, tools, partner development and purchasing decisions.

  • Lead efforts in optimizing cloud and on-premises resources to reduce operational costs without compromising on quality.

  • Develop and execute strategies for cost-effective management of IT infrastructure, balancing performance and cost.

  • Maintain a highly reliable, secure, and high-performing infrastructure to support internal and customer solutions. Drive the adoption of modern technologies to scale operations effectively.

  • Lead enterprise network and computing strategy, including lifecycle management.

  • Guide the incorporation of emerging technologies into IT Infrastructure and Operations to achieve the overall Technology strategy.

  • Direct our technology procurement strategy, providing oversight for strategic vendor and partner relationship management.

  • Spearhead the creation of enterprise technology standards, governance processes, and performance metrics.

  • Accelerate business growth through innovative process and technology enhancements.

  • Command top-tier IT talent and optimize resources to fuel rapid growth and tech investment.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders in Technology and across the business to manage the range of services offered and establish the governance needed to allocate resources effectively.

  • Design, build, and oversee a cohesive and all-encompassing IT Service Management (ITSM) framework, leveraging best-practice approaches and tools.

  • Conduct regular cost analysis and budgeting to ensure financial efficiency.

  • Ensure that all infrastructure and security practices comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance standards such as ISO, NIST, and other relevant frameworks.

  • Collaborate with Internal Audit to implement and oversee audit processes, ensuring continuous compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.

  • Oversee the deployment and management of cybersecurity tools and technologies to safeguard the organization's assets.

  • Oversee the execution of regular security assessments, audits, and penetration testing to identify and mitigate risks.

  • Ensure compliance with security regulations and standards such as HIPAA, SOC, and HiTrust.

  • Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain a secure environment.

Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or a related field

  • 10+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure and Security, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

  • Proven experience in managing high-availability systems and optimizing platform performance.

  • Strong background in cost management and optimization in IT environments.

  • In-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory compliance requirements.

  • Extensive experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and managing security compliance.

Additional Items of Interest:

  • Master's degree in Business Administration, IT, Cybersecurity or related field

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, AWS Solutions Architect)
