Overview Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center is an independent, nonprofit organization providing adult cancer treatment and groundbreaking research focused on cancer and infectious diseases. Based in Seattle, Fred Hutch is the only National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center in Washington. The Director of Clinical Applications is responsible for the development, implementation, and support of information technology for core oncology and oncology research applications, clinical ancillary and supportive care applications and modules across Fred Hutchison Cancer Center. Systems include but not limited to Epic Enterprise EHR, Ancillary Radiology, and Laboratory information Systems, and Digital Health solutions. The Director is a key member of the IT Leadership team and must possess a strong knowledge of IT, applications, and project management. Understanding the organization's needs is a major part of this role and requires a thorough understanding of healthcare operations, both ambulatory and inpatient. The Director will oversee the integrated governance, strategic direction, operating plans, financial management, talent management, application lifecycle and portfolio management, regulatory compliance and oversight, and customer service and relationship management with key clinical, and operational leaders for the aligned applications. The annual base salary range for this position is from $178,007 to $296,628 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications. This position may be eligible for relocation assistance. Most Fred Hutch jobs require some on-campus work. However, there may be flexibility for certain positions.
