Job Title - Student Intern, Cost Estimator
Location - Muscatine, Iowa

Stanley Consultants is seeking a Student Intern for our Cost Estimating department in our Muscatine, IA office. This position develops and checks cost estimates for a variety of architectural, civil, industrial, institutional, and utility type projects.

What You Will Be Doing:



  • Work with cost estimating team to prepares detailed breakdown of components and elements of estimates for systems and subsystems
  • Accumulate, evaluate, and document historical cost data for the development of future estimates
  • Review contract documents and contract modifications to determine scope of work and equitable cost allowance for scope changes
  • Prepare and/or review final Engineer's estimate


Required Qualifications:



  • Must be currently pursuing a degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
  • Must possess strong PC skills and familiarity with Microsoft Excel
  • Must possess the ability to read construction documentation
  • Experience in scheduling and use of scheduling software is a plus
  • Previous construction experience is a plus
