As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be building resilient, highly scalable, highly available and highly performant services that leverage state of the art technologies to deliver the next gen collaboration and teamwork experiences. ResponsibilitiesLead discussions for the architecture of products/solutions, creates architecture proposals by testing design hypotheses, and helps to refine code plans. Develops design documents for designs or User Stories and determines the technology that will be leveraged and how it will interact. Lead identification of dependencies and other teams and technologies that will be leveraged, how they will interact, and when one's own system may provide support to others. Lead by example within the team by producing extensible and maintainable code. Drive efforts to ensure the correct processes are followed to achieve a high degree of security, privacy, safety, and accessibility. Creates and assures the presence of visible evidence to demonstrate compliance for products. Develops and maintains a deep understanding of the implications of onboarding new technologies following expectations of compliance at Microsoft. Effectively mitigate and debug issues found during live-site operations, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, implement top notch monitoring, dashboards, and troubleshooting guides (TSGs) for services. Identify best practices and coding patterns and provide deep expertise in coding and validation strategies. Creates and applies metrics to drive the quality and stability of code, as well as appropriate coding patterns and best practices. Collaborate with diverse team members residing in various parts of the globe including Microsoft Redmond Campus. Embody our Culture and Values.
