This Occupational Therapist II Weymouth will be responsible for:
  • Providing occupational therapy services to patients with physical dysfunction in accordance with established departmental and professional practice guidelines, standards and protocols.
  • Performing evaluations, assigning occupational therapy diagnoses
  • Developing and implementing patient treatment programs and goals
  • Preparing discharge plans and home treatment programs
  • Instructing and educating patients/families
  • Representing service on committees, at meetings and educational programs within the department and hospital.
  • Serving as a resource in general pediatrics. Participating in unit and department quality improvement program.
  • Providing direction, supervision and follow up as needed to ensure tasks are performed according to established standards and guidelines.
  • Monitors performance, provides guidance and feedback and preparing and conducting student evaluations. May participate in departmental training and staff development programs.
  • May act as a supervisor for assigned direct reports, including occupational therapist assistants (OTA) or rehab aides.
  • Assisting in monitoring work assignments, identifying areas for improvement and professional development, providing instruction and feedback, and participating in performance evaluations.

To qualify, you must have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • 3-5 years of OT experience required, previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Active state of MA OT license
  • Pediatric OT experience highly preferred

This position is M-F, and is eligible for a $5000 sign on bonus!
This position is based in our new Weymouth satellite office
