Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations Requisition ID: 2024-8322 # of Openings: 1 Location: US-UT-Logan Category: Athletics Position Type: Benefited Full-Time Job Classification: Exempt College: Athletics Department: Event Management Advertised Salary: Commensurate with experience, plus excellent benefits Overview The Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations (Director) will report to the Deputy Athletic Director. Responsible for the day-to-day administration of Facilities and Event Management. These responsibilities also include working with assigned staff on the planning and implementing of all game operation activities and the management of all the special events in Athletic department venues. Individual will have oversite for the day-to-day facilities management and work requests. The person will also assist with Capital Project Management and Facilities Master Planning and will participate in developing and monitoring the facility and event management budget. This position is responsible for assisting with contract management and coordination with outside agencies providing services or equipment for Athletic and University events. This position also maintains up-to-date emergency and event related policies and procedures for the department. As the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations, they will serve as the Athletic Department liaison to Event Services within the university. This position will also act as a liaison within other units of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Utah State, as well as with the Cache Valley and Utah State University communities.
