Echo Lake Foods in Burlington and Franksville are hiring! Ammonia Refrigeration Technician $3,500 Sign on Bonus! Job Objectives: -Maintain the general operation and safety of production equipment -Maintain the operation and safety of refrigeration systems -Timely start- up of production on a daily basis -Comply with USDA concerns -Be well versed in NH3 (Ammonia) and able to service and troubleshoot system in all phases Responsibilities: -Engage in maintenance related activities -Visually inspect production equipment and remodeling projects and complete repairs or renovations -Maintain and troubleshoot production equipment for a food processing plant -Maintain and troubleshoot boilers, chillers, refrigeration systems including Ammonia Job Requirements: -Must have a competent knowledge of use of power tools, hand tools, and maintenance techniques -Must be able to accomplish heavy labor projects as needed, including moving heavy equipment or parts up to 50 pounds -Must have knowledge of safe use of ladders and elevated platform devices -Must comply with all safety requirements and regulations, including PPE and lock out/tag out -Measure and plot material sizes and needs with standard measuring devices (rulers and tapes) -Be able to follow detailed instructions -Work well with others -Basic Math skills, including multiplication and division -Willingness to work flexible hours as the job demands -Own basic hand tools and box to lock them in -Prior related ammonia refrigeration experience: 3 years practical preferred but 1 year practical required -Ability to prioritize Echo Lake has created new egg products for customers for decades, from breakfast entrees to main dishes.
