Synchron, LLC has an exciting opportunity for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Financial Management Analyst to support the Navy's Submarine International Programs Office at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC. We are seeking a candidate to provide the US Navy and our Allies and partners with cutting edge undersea warfare technology. You will provide direct support to the Navy's FMS programs in undersea warfare.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to Business and Financial Manager (BFM) for FMS cases through all phases of FMS lifecycle.
  • Assist with daily FMS case management functions in all phases of the FMS lifecycle, from pre letter of request, letter of acceptance, and full case management at the direction of senior personnel
  • Assist Finance Section prepare and process Case Implementation Packages
  • Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) for 1400 series Reimbursable Documents
  • Conduct Annual Case Reviews (ACR)
  • SCIP Reports formulation and Excel tracking
  • Prepare monthly Case Reports and distribute them to the support team
  • Support development and prepare requirements definition packages and draft proposed letters of requests at the direction of senior personnel
  • Support case development activities, such as precreation of price and availability packages, entry into DSAMS, preparation of case amendments and modifications at the direction of senior personnel
  • Support management of the full lifecycle of case execution to close-out at the direction of senior personnel
  • Serve as a single POC managing Foreign Visit Requests at the direction of senior personnel
  • In FMS Team Lead's absence, compile slide data and run biweekly organizational meeting


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum of five-years professional financial management experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting a program or project team responsible for projects
  • Demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills, including project plans, white papers, proposals, and formal presentations
  • Experience supporting the US Navy or active-duty Navy experience is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business, technical, international affairs, strategy & policy or related field.
  • ERP experience is required;
  • Active Secret Clearance


Preferred Education and Experience Requirements:


  • MISIL, DSAMS and SCIP experience is desired
  • Two years professional experience related to foreign military sales or international affairs


Work Location: Vicinity of Washington Navy Yard, Washington, DC. Telework options for 1-2 days per week.


Travel: potential for travel (less than 5%)
