Position Summary: The Product Analyst plays a key role in driving data-informed decision-making to ensure FXI's product portfolio meets market demands and company goals. By analyzing market trends, product performance, and customer feedback, you will support the development and improvement of our products. This role works closely with cross-functional teams-including product development, marketing, and sales-to optimize product offerings and contribute to the company's profitability and success.



Responsibilities

    Market Analysis: Conduct thorough research on industry trends, competitive landscape, and consumer preferences. Identify opportunities for new product development and improvements to existing products.
  • Product Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics such as sales data, customer reviews, and return rates. Provide actionable insights to enhance product offerings.
  • Data Interpretation: Utilize statistical tools and data analytics to interpret data and generate reports. Translate complex data into clear and actionable recommendations for product enhancements.
  • Customer Feedback Analysis: Collect and analyze customer feedback from various channels to identify common issues, needs, and preferences. Work with the product development team to address these insights.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, designers, and marketing teams to ensure that product development aligns with market needs and company objectives.
  • Product Testing and Evaluation: Assist in designing and executing product testing protocols. Evaluate test results and provide recommendations for product modifications.
  • Competitive Benchmarking: Analyze competitor products and strategies to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for differentiation.
  • Data-Driven Strategy: Support the development of data-driven product strategies, working with product managers to shape long-term plans that address market dynamics and customer requirements.


Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in product analysis, market research, or a related role, preferably in the consumer goods or manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to influence cross-functionally across all levels of the business.
  • Strong knowledge of foam materials and their applications, including experience with material science, product design, or manufacturing processes involving foam.
  • Power BI experience or other visual analytical tools
  • Experience working with automotive or technology clients and a deep understanding of the product lifecycle in those industries.
  • Proven experience in product design and specification development, with ability to translate customer needs into viable product solutions.
  • Ability to provide technical support to non-technical teams to enhance their understanding and selling capabilities.
