Shift:Monday - Fridays Days (REMOTE with travel to all MUHC Clinics) * Base Pay Range: $22.00 - $34.74/hour, based on experience

DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Engage in the optimization of pharmacy operations and process improvement, including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical purchasing, formulary management, sample medication management, medication storage, clinic-administered medication charge practices, waste management, and controlled substance audit practices. Assist management with developing and implementing policies and procedures, ambulatory staff education, and regulatory compliance action plans. Conduct on-site assessments to ensure optimal medication handling practices in the ambulatory environment and alignment with internal policies and external standards, rules, and regulations. Document audit findings, prepare timely reports, and present them to clinic leadership. Review historical audit trends and make recommendations to support the development of facility plans of correction. Serve as a liaison between the ambulatory service lines and pharmacy services. May complete unit/department-specific duties and expectations as outlined in department documents. Pharmacy Technician licensure by the Missouri Board of Pharmacy. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification by the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) within one (1) year as a condition of continued employment in this job classification. Two (2) years of pharmacy experience. PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
